BUGTRAQ OPERATING SYSTEM INTRODUCTION  Bugtraq is another operating system for penetration testing. Bugtraq based on the 3.2 and 3.4 kernel Generic available in 32 Bits & 64 Bits has a huge range of penetration, forensic and laboratory tools. Bugtraq is available with XFCE, Gnome and KDE based on Ubuntu, Debian and OpenSuse. The systems are available in 11 different languages. REQUIREMENTS  You can install bugtraq distribution from a Live DVD or USB drive. The minimum requirements are based on XFCE -  1GHz x86 processor & 512 MB of system memory 15 GB of disk space for installation. DOWNLOAD BUGTRAQ PAGE Click here to download Bugtraq : http://bugtraq-team.com/downloads INSTALLING BUGTRAQ BOOT BUGTRAQ THROUGH CD OR BOOTABLE USB ENTER USERNAME  Username is ' bugtraq ' See the below image for more details - ENTER PASSWORD  Password is 123456 BUGTRAQ LIVE DEEKTOP  INSTALLING BUGTRAQ NOW  To install bugtraq , right click on the install icon and left cllick on execute option. See the below image for more details - ,  IT ASK FOR PASSWORD  In bugtraq , whenever to perform administrative task ,it ask for the bugtraq password. In this case you have to enter password :123456 See the below image for more details - CREATE PARTITION  To create partition you have two options - Erase disk and install bugtraq-ll   ---> This will delete all the files in the disk . Something else ---> This option help you to create ,resize, choose partitions manually . So in this tutorial I used the 2nd i.e Something else ( Manually partition ).  See the below options for more detals - CREATE NEW PARTITION TABLE  To create a new partition table , press the button 'New Partition Table'. See the below image for more details - As you press the new partition button , it will pop up a windows (shown below) See the below image for more details - Press continue. CREATE ROOT PARTITION CREATE BOOT PARTITION CREATE SWAP AREA SELECT ROOT PARTITION AND CLICK ON INSTALL NOW SELECT YOUR LOCATION  SELECT KEYBOARD LAYOUT  INSTALLING In this step , it will take time . RESTART SYSTEM  To restart click on restart now button . See the below image for more details - GRUB MENU  Select ubuntu and press enter to start bugtraq.
